Lighthouses of Oregon, Maps and Photos
Driving the Oregon Coast in the summer is a popular thing to do. So much so that the hotels and motels in the small towns along the route will be completely booked well ahead of time. It’s a beautiful drive with so many places to discover, so plan ahead if you want to make this road trip.
Lighthouses are one of our favorite things to see and photograph on the Oregon Coast. This map makes it easy to see their location. Zoom the map in to see where to turn off Highway 101. Traveling north to south makes it easier and safer to stop at the coastal sights along the way. This avoids left turns across traffic on this busy highway.
A couple of the lighthouses are inaccessible but can be seen from the shore (Tillamook Rock and Cape Arago). All of these lighthouses are on the Oregon Coast except for Warrior Rock which can be visited by hiking a trail on Sauvie Island on the Columbia River north of Portland. Each one is unique and photogenic. See the images below.
