The topographic map of this natural feature is one of our favorites on TopoZone. The Gooseneck is a series of three tight bends in the San Juan River near the town of Mexican Hat. Utah has created a state park with a perfect place to photograph the center of the bends. Hiking trails and roads follow the edge of the canyon in both directions if you want to get a different perspective. Camping is allowed in eight spots along the rim if they are open (reservations are not possible).
