The Coal Mines Trail is a former coal mining railroad track that has been converted to a gravel rail-trail to connect the towns of Cle Elum and Ronald. It passes right through downtown Roslyn near the mid-point. Roslyn has a bike shop where you can rent a bike and ride the Coal Mines Trail or explore Section 17 which has true mountain bike trails. Ask the bike shop how to get to the Roslyn Cemetery as that’s a wonderful place to ride to.
